The new KX057-5 replaces the KX057-4 in Kubota’s K Series of compact excavators and offers improved technology and ample cabin space. The new KX057-5 is available in canopy or cab models, boasts an impressive 47.6 gross horsepower, a working range that includes a digging depth of 12 feet 9 inches and an impressive bucket breakout force of 10,172 pounds. Technology features include a new full-color seven-inch LCD screen that provides all the information the operator needs to know with a quick glance. An optional keyless start is available for the first time on Kubota’s excavators; the engine can be started with a four-digit code, and up to 10 user passwords can be set. With this new technology, operators no longer need to worry about lost keys.
Engineered to meet the needs of contractors working in tight spaces, the new U55-5 has a reduced tail swing to maneuver in any size jobsite. Kubota’s U55-5 is available in canopy or cab models, has an impressive 47.6 horsepower, a working range that includes a digging depth of 11 feet 11 inches and a max dump height of 13 feet 2 inches. A redesigned cabin features a double adjustable seat and greater head and foot space. The newly designed cab was designed to reduce noise and help protect the operator’s ears. A new larger full-color LCD screen provides all operational information in clear view. Other upgrades on the U55-5 include optional rear-view camera and keyless start, with 10 user passwords for customized control.
The SVL97-2 is the newest member of Kubota’s compact track loader line up. The all new SVL97-2 offers its operators a 96-horsepower engine with a rated operating capacity of 3,200 pounds (at 35 percent tipping load). The SVL97-2 boasts an impressive 7,961 pounds of breakout force and a staggering 40-inch reach at max height. The SVL97-2 includes telematics, rearview camera, and lockable DEF door as standard equipment, and the DEF system has been re-engineered to ensure long-term reliability and productivity.
The new R540 and R640 wheel loaders feature improved visibility with in-cab panoramic views, enhanced operator comfort and increased performance over the previous R30 Series models. The next-generation wheel loaders, which are available in both canopy and cab models, were designed with landscaping and residential and commercial construction applications in mind. Featuring a 64-horsepower Tier 4 Final engine, the R640 boasts an operating weight of 11,563 pounds and delivers a maximum breakout force of 9,869 pounds and 8,161 pounds of lifting capacity. The R540 offers a 54-horsepower Tier 4 Final engine and has an operating weight of 10,285 pounds and delivers a maximum breakout force of 8,183 pounds and 6,767 pounds of lifting capacity. Both will pack a mean punch on any jobsite.
